Vegetarian Ham and Cheese Recipe

Soy Cheddar Cheese

Low Calorie Whole Wheat Bread

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
2 Slices Yves Brand Veggie Ham *25 cals per slice

2 Slices Soy Cheddar Cheese *45 cals per slice

2 Slices Low Calorie Whole Wheat Bread *45 cals per slice

Directions:
No brainer.
Lightly toast bread.
Put 2 slices of soy cheddar cheese between 2 slices of veggie ham.
Put on a frying pan (no oil) and cover with a lid on very low heat for 3-5 minutes.
Flip over and allow to heat for another 3-5 minutes.
Eat. It's delicious. 230 calories.

Mediterranean Turkey Sandwich Recipe

Notes:
A turkey sandwich with an exotic touch.  Tasty, original & fast! Finally a sandwich with some personality =P   A delicacy of the mediterranean cusine, has strong italian influences… brought to you by me!  A delicious pesto recipe included… oh mama mia!   Translated from my language to english, for buddyslim only!  Enjoy ;-)

Servings: 2

Ingredients:
480 g (1 lb) sliced turkey (cooked as you wish)
4 wholemeal bread (hamburger style)
1 sliced white onion
3 spoons dark sugar
1 cup light cream cheese or ricotta cheese
Lettuce and tomato

For the pesto:

1 cup fresh basil leaves
half cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup of olive oil
salt and pepper
Toasted & crushed pine nuts (optional)

Directions:
In a blender add the basil, parmesan cheese and olive oil, until you get a smooth paste (cream like) Add the salt, pine nuts and pepper. Set aside. Next, in a frying pan melt the sugar then add the onion. Cook it for 10 minutes until it's caramelized. In a bowl mix the cream cheese with the pesto (the blender mix I asked you to set aside previously) Now spread this mix on the bread, add in this order: some lettuce leaves, tomato, some more of the pesto if you like, the turkey slices & the caramelized onion. Bon apetit!

Chicken quesadilla (only 245 calories!!) Recipe

Notes:
This is a recipe of a mexican classic… quesadillas!!  I’ve translated it from my language to english… for buddyslim only!

 It’s quite tasty and also has very few calories.  245 calories only!

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
1 soft tortilla (flour ones, the fat free ones)
15 grams (1/2 onze) swiss cheese finely cut
Half cup of boiled chicken

Directions:
1 - Take the flour tortilla, add the chicken and the cheese and fold the tortilla in half.
2 - Place your quesadilla in a teflon frying pan, don't use oil for the the pan. You can use some low fat cooking spray if you think you need it, but that would add a few more calories.
3 - Keep checking your quesadilla from time to time, flip it over with your spatula a few times until the cheese melts or both sides are a bit brown. Enjoy!!!

You can use mushroom & onion instead of using chicken, you can also mix them, depends on your taste.

You can add some tabasco or jalapeño sauce (0 calories) to your quesadilla if you want. Feel free to serve it with a fresh lettuce & tomato salad. Enjoy!
