Meatball Pitas Recipe

Like a meatball sanwich with a tang
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
Pinch of salt
12 oz of ground turkey or lean ground beef
1 teaspoon of oregano
3/4 teaspoon salt
4 large whole wheat pita rounds
8 lettece leaves
2 medium tomatoes
Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350F
Make the sauce in a small bowl combine yogurt, lemon juice, half the garlic and pinch of salt, set aside
Mix the rest of the stuff into the ground turkey except the pitas..form meatballs makes about 24 place them on baking sheet and bake 20min or until cooked. Cut pits rounds in half open to make pockets. fill with lettuce, sliced tomatos, and meatballs. Sereve with sauce.
