Protein Pizza Recipe

Notes:
A high protein low carb substitution for pizza night. Gives you lots of protein, without all the carbs , fat and calories.
Servings: 8 Slices
Ingredients:
3 eggs
3 cups shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp basil
1/4 cup low carb marinara or pizza sauce.
1 cup LF Mozzarella cheese
2 links Italian sausage (browned and crumbled) (I use turkey or chicken)
12 slices Turkey pepperoni
Directions:
Heat oven to 450 degrees for at least 10 minutes.
In a bowl thoroughly combine
3 eggs
3 cups shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp basil
Press evenly into Pam sprayed pizza pan or cookie sheet
(this makes one 16 inch pizza crust)
Bake at 450 degrees until golden brown (about 10 to 15 minutes)
Add toppings of your choice
1/4 cup low carb marinara or pizza sauce.
1 cup LF Mozzarella cheese
2 links Italian sausage (browned and crumbled) (I use turkey or chicken)
12 slices Turkey pepperoni
After adding toppings, run the pizza under the broiler until cheese is melted and toppings are bubbly.
