Pasta Bolognese Recipe

Notes:
A yummy low fat pasta dish high in flavor
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
1 lb Whole wheat pasta, 1 lb turkey/chicken mince, 2 red onions, 2 TBSP freshly minced garlic, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 TBSP chilli flakes, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 TBSP olive oil, 2 large cans chopped tomatoes in puree, 1 tsp dried rosemary, 1/4 cup chopped basil
Directions:
In a large pan heat the oil. When it gets hot, add the chopped onions followed shortly after by the mince. Cook thoroughly until the meat is cooked through. Add the garlic and fry for about 1 minute. Add the tomatoes followed by all spices and seasonings. Leave to simmer for aproximately 1-2 hours until it looks like a slightly wet sauce. Follow the package for directions on your pasta. Drain the pasta (reserving some of the liquid if you need it) and mix with the sauce. Enjoy!!
