Crowd Pleasing Casserole Recipe

Servings: 12-24

Ingredients:
One pound lean ground turkey One med. onion chopped fifteen ozs. tomato sauce one tsp. sugar half tsp. salt half tsp. pepper four cups uncooked macaroni one c. lowfat cottage cheese eight ozs.cream cheese(f.f.) half c. sliced green onions one fourth c. green peppers one fourth c. grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
In skillet over med. heat, cook turkey and onions until turkey is no longer pink. Stir in Tomato sauce , sugar, salt , and pepper. Remove from heat. Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain. In large bowl combine cottage cheese , cream cheese, green onions , and green peppers ; gradually stir in pasta . Spread half pasta mixture in an eleven by seventeen inch baking dish or five quart casserole : top with half meat mixture . Layer remaining pasta and meat. Sprinkle w/ paresan cheese. Bake at three hundred an fifty degrees for thirty mins.
