Notes:
serving= 1 cup w/ 1 TBSP sour cream
279 cal, 9 gram fat, 4 sat fat, 1 trans fat, 54 mg chol, 414 mg sodium, 31 g carb, 7 g fiber, 21 g protein

Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
28 oz can crushed tomatoes in puree
2 red onions
4 carrots
1/3 c BBQ sauce
3 Tbsp chili powder
2 TBSP red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp light molasses
1 Tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp cloves (I LEFT OUT)
1 Tbsp cornmeal
1/4 C sour cream

Directions:
brown beef and break up.
add all BUT sour cream and cornmeal.

cook in crockpot 4-5 on high 8-10 on low
about 20 mins before end, add cornmeal and stir.
Cover and cook on high 15 mins.
serve with sour cream

Lots of ways to cut back points on this…..no sour cream, light sour cream, extra lean ground beef, no cornmeal.
