Ingredients:
Lrg Frying Pan: steam some shredded cabbage and carrots in some sauted minced garlic with 100% olive oil in one pot

Lrg Cooking Pot: add into broiled water some chopped up celery, parsley, onions, red pepper, mashed pumpkin meat… add seasoning for taste (chicken adobo, pepper, and hot whole pepper to boil *…..no salt)

*do not cut open

Directions:
….once veggies are steamed add into the broiling pot with the rest of the ingredients and bring fire to a low heat allowing soup to cook for another 20-30 minutes

Tasty Cabbage soup Recipe

Delicious cabbage soup!

Servings: 8

Ingredients:
8 cups water
6 chicken herb ox bouillion cubes
1 head green cabbage chopped
1/2 red bell pepper diced
1/2 onion diced
4 diced celery stalks
1 handful of parsley
spices (I use garlic powder, paprika, black pepper and a touch of yellow curry)

Directions:
Cook on medium til boiling. Turn down to low/medium and cook covered for 30 mins til tender and rich with flavor!

Garlic Spinach Recipe

This is one of my favorites.  All of the ingredients are great detoxifiers, and it tastes great.   you do need to like spinach for this one, but fresh spinach is very different that canned or frozen, so give it a chance!

I have recently started ’sauteeing’ with water instead of oil, because I am tire of grilling, roasting and steaming.  It is actually basically pan steaming when you do it this way, which means that you retain the vitamins in the water because you cook with so little water.  It does take a little finess, and the results are quite the same as they would be with oil, but it is faster than the other methods and is still healthy. 

 I am bad about measurments because I am classically trained and think I know better :) so if you have questions - please ask!

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
about 2 cups raw spinach (cleaned)
1 - 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
salt
water

Directions:
add about 2 tbs water to the pan and heat. The water takes place of oil in this recipe.

"sautee" the sliced garlic in the water for 30 sec - 1 min until it starts to release a cooking odor. If you don't like raw garlic, cook it longer until it begins to get translucent.

Add the spinach to pan and toss with tongs. Don't wilt it all the way in the pan - it will continue to wilt as you plate it. When it is almost wilted, season with salt and sprinle with sesame seeds.

Vegetable Detox Cellulite Soup Recipe

Detox low fat soup

Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients:
1 stalk of celery, 6 green peppers 2 large yellow onions 1 head of cabbage, 2 cans of crushed tomatoes or chunk. V8 juice is optional

Directions:
Cut up veggies, boil for 10 mins in water, and then simmer on a low flame until veggies are tender.

Eat at least once a day, or as much as you want. You can also eat fruits, veggies and soup for the first 3 days to detox. Eat bananas 4th day to get potassium. then have some protein.

2 cups cherry tomatoes ( that\\\'s about 2 cups of diced tomatoes )
4 oz. carrots ( that\\\'s about 1/2 cup of diced carrots )
1/4 lemon
salt and pepper

Sunrise Delight-juicer recipe Recipe

A quick, refreshing drink.  It is a staple of my juice fast.  It is easy to make and a joy to drink.  I use a juicer and Magic Bullet to prepare this drink.  You can always try this with a blender but it won’t be as smooth.  My juicer makes the juice taste so much better than I thought possible.

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
Half of one banana
1 peach or nectarine: fresh or frozen; organic if you choose
1 navel orange
4 strawberries: fresh or frozen; organic if you choose
Ice cubes: 4-8 depending on your preference

Directions:
Peach/Nectarine:
Clean, cut in half and remove pit. Cut to fit according to your machine's instructions.

Orange:
Peel and make sure to remove the pith (white stuff) and hard ends.

Juice:
Peach/Nectarine and Orange according to your machine's instructions.

Banana:
Peel and cut one HALF.

Strawberries:
If fresh: clean, remove tops and cut according to your machine's instructions.
If frozen: take straight from freezer.

Blend:
Peach/Nectarine and Orange Juice
Strawberries
Banana
Ice Cubes

Blend until everything is to the consistency you desire. I blend in my Magic Bullet until everything is smooth. My son likes to have small chunks of banana and strawberry. Add additional ice if you want to make a thicker smoothie.
