Easy Low Cal Pizza (172 Calories) Recipe

I love pizza, and I am always looking for ways to eat my favorites foods and still save on calories and fat.

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
1-flax, oat, whole wheat flour pita bread- Josheph's (I found this at Wal-Mart)
1/4 Cup Mozzarella nonfat cheese
1/4 cup canned pizza sauce
8 slices Hormel Pillow pack sliced turkey pepperoni

Directions:
lay bread on a toaster oven tray
spread with pizza sauce
top with cheese
lay pepperoni on top of that

Put in toaster oven at 400 degrees just until the cheese melts

Banana Surprise Recipe

Notes:
I adapted this from my hubby’s fatty version, and it was just as good, but better for you!

I will add the nutritional value when I get a chance to do it. I had buddies asking for the recipe so I thought I would at least get it on here.

This is so Yummy, and EASY, my hubby can do it!

Servings: 8

Ingredients:
2 boxes fat free/ sugar free banana pudding
2 tubs fat free Cool Whip
4 bananas
60 Reduced fat Nilla Wafers

Directions:
layer 30 Nilla Wafers in the bottom of a large bowl, top with half of prepared pudding, top with 2 of the bananas sliced,
spread the layers with 1 tub of coolwhip, layer the other 30 cookies, top with remaining pudding and bananas, spread with other tub of Cool Whip. Refrigerate for at least 1 hr.

Oriental Cole Slaw Recipe

I have not made this recipe in a long time, but I am making it this weekend for a family get together.
I have never tried substituting Splenda for the sugar, but I am sure it could be done to save even more calories.

Ingredients:
#2 (10 ounce) packages coleslaw (or one medium head cabbage finely shredded)

8 green onions, sliced

1 cup sliced almonds

1/4 cup sesame seeds

2 (3 ounce) packages chicken-flavored ramen noodles, reserve seasoning packets

1/2 cup canola oil

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions:
Toast almonds and sesame seeds on cookie sheet @ 300 degrees until lightly browned.
Remove Ramen noodles from pkg, reserving seasoning packets, and crush [not too fine].
In a large jar, combine oil, vinegar, sugar, pepper, and seasoning packets; shake well [shake several times before use] being sure that sugar dissolves.
In a large bowl, combine slaw, onions, almonds and sesame seeds.
